[Yosuke stops at the entrance to the kitchen and watches Souji for a second. Shit. It does smell good. He's only had Souji's cooking a couple of times when his friend shared his lunch, and it's always been delicious. It smells like stew, and Yosuke knows he's in very real trouble since ...it's still one of his favorites.
Well. Souji's probably going to gently turn him down like Yosuke's seen him do for everyone else that's confessed to him. Which isn't the worst thing. As long as their friendship is still in tact; it would be too awkward to be stuck here as the only person Souji knows from home.
(Of course, there's still that little petty, nasty, ugly voice inside him reminding Yosuke that he's betraying the memory of Saki-senpai. Being turned down would only be right after everything that happened.
He takes a deep breath and waltzes in like he isn't a storm of anxiety and thinly covered nervousness underneath.] Yo-hoooo smells good! You always had a knack for making good stew.
[Yosuke leans against the counter a reasonable distance away. Not too close that it's too familiar and presumptuous. Not too far away to make it awkward and seem like Yosuke doesn't want to talk. He crosses his arms casually, like he always does and is a totally normal thing to do, watching Souji work.]
How'd you manage to find good ingredients in this place? I can barely find anything close to a good TaP.
